Sometimes the little things in life can make such a big difference. These two things have really elevated my kitchen and make me smile every day 😊: FEBU Swedish dishcloths and josephjosephofficial dish rack (both purchased on Amazon). My only regret about the Swedish dishcloths is that I didn't get them sooner! If you're not familiar with what they are, they're basically very thin sponges that are nearly the size of a regular dishcloth. They're made of cotton and wood pulp so they're very absorbent, durable, and washable 50x. They also dry much more quickly than regular dishcloths and don't harbor bacteria so they don't get stinky! I primarily use these for washing dishes 🍽️, but they are also known as a "paper towel replacement" because they're so versatile. They can quickly absorb spills and clean a variety of surfaces without scratching. I recommend trying the FEBU brand if you're new to Swedish dishcloths like me, because I've found they're less expensive than most others. I'd been wanting a new dish drying rack *literally* for years but it seemed none of them were quite right until I found this one from Joseph Joseph. I used to have the cheap wire rack type (see 4th photo) which is fine, but mine had become stained in a couple of places and the paint was chipping off. It also was a bit small. This new one is beautiful 😍 and looks great in my kitchen because it matches my appliances. I really like that it has a drain spout and the rack is expandable to accommodate smaller and larger spaces. I have mine expanded to hold as much as possible, which is so nice because I really don't like drying dishes by hand.
